Trent Snyder’s Racing Career:

The 2007 ASA Late Model Series Northern Division Champion collected Two (2) Feature Wins with both of those coming at the wicked fast high-banks of the I-70 (MO) Speedway in Odessa, Missouri and in both victories, Snyder took over the points lead and with the second time, he never relinquished it on his way to the Championship!

His first Feature Win was in the Missouri 100 Presented by K.C. Power Equipment on June 9, 2007 while the second triumph in the Show-Me State was in the North VS South Shootout / World Cup 200 on September 23, 2007.

Snyder also registered Four (4) Top Five finishes, Six (6) Top 10s, and Seven (7) Top 15 place finishes. He also won One (1) Fast Qualifier Award, which also happened at the I-70 Speedway on June 9, 2007.

Snyder also made Two appearances in the ASALMS Challenge Division and recorded a Fifth place finish in the Non-Points Adam Petty Memorial/All-American 200 at the Music City (TN) Motorplex on November 3, 2007.

2006: Won his first ever ASA Late Model Series Northern Division Feature in only his third career ASALMS appearance, when he took the win in the 34th annual Keith Fleck Miller 100 Presented by Barron Motor Supply at the Hawkeye Downs (IA) Speedway in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on September 1, 2006.

Snyder backed that up with a fifth place showing after starting 22nd two days later in televised ASALMS Challenge Division competition at the Elko (MN) Speedway on September 3, 2006 during the Labor Day 200 Presented by Trackside Charities.

Trent led the field to the green for the Oktoberfest ASALM 100. Snyder finished the event in 3rd place and was awarded the Oktoberfest Showmanship award for the weekend.

Outside of the ASALMS Trent has competed at the Milwaukee Mile in the Wisconsin Challenge Series, which featured both the largest field of super late models in the six year history of WCS, and the largest field of cars to compete at the Mile in its 103 years of racing. 71 cars showed up and 68 made an official qualifying lap. Snyder Qualified fifth for the record breaking show, and finished an impressive second.

2005: Snyder finished seventh in the now defunct MARS Series Points Standings while winning the Minnesota Governor’s Cup MARS event at the I-94 (MN) Raceway. Snyder also scored a Top ten finish in the Wisconsin Governor’s Cup MARS race at the Milwaukee Mile and finished second in the CWRA Late Models event during the 2005 Oktoberfest Weekend at the LaCrosse (WI) Fairgrounds Speedway. He also qualified fifth for ARTGO Reunion 100 at Oktoberfest out of 68 cars.

2000-2004: Beginning with the 2000 season, Snyder made the transition to the Late Models and success was immediate. He won the Rookie of the Year Awards at both the I-94 (MN) Raceway and the Fergus Falls (MN) Raceway in 2000 while finishing second overall at both tracks! In addition, he was voted the Most Popular Driver at both tracks!

From 2001-2002 raced primarily at both I-94 and Fergus Falls and then in 2003, picked up his first career Track Championship at I-94 in the Late Models Division. In 2004, Snyder began traveling full-time and was the runner-up for the Rookie of the Year title in the MARS Series while also finishing third overall in the title chase.

1994-1999: The Ironton, Minnesota driver started in Go-carts in 1994 at just nine years old and would go on to win two track championships in 1997 and 1998. Snyder also won two State championships, with the second coming at 13 years old and was against adults.

Snyder then moved up to the Legends Cars and picked up the National Rookie of the Year in 1999 and finished in the top 15 in National Points among 600 drivers. In addition, Snyder won the I-94 Raceway Legends Rookie Award and also won events at the Lowe’s (NC) Motor Speedway as well as the Rockford (IL) Speedway that same season.
